A ‘Silent March’ displays empty shoes, some belonging to victims of gun violence, to graphically illustrate America’s preventable epidemic of firearm-related death, injury and trauma. We will display these shoes on the state capitol steps on April 18 to also remind legislators and the public to support legislation that can potentially reduce the number of gun violence victims.

Occupy Denver: Let’s Keep Them Warm and Fed!

Occupiers have been diligent at Occupying Denver. We visited them December 5th after they had spent a few nights on the sidewalk through three snow storms in horrific sub-zero temperatures. The young people that we met were “clean” [sic], resourceful, smart and obviously very dedicated to this movement. They are the face of “our” movement and we need to support them!
